Lorraine M. Phillips
HERNDON • Lorraine M. Phillips, 88, of Herndon, passed away July 25, 2020, at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, after a brief illness. She was born Oct. 19, 1931, in Hebe, a daughter of the late Edna Laudenslager-Leitzel and Harry Leitzel. Lorraine was employed at Hall’s Motor Transit in Sunbury and by Creative Playthings in Herndon. She was the wife of the late Randall Phillips who preceded her in death in 2007. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards at the senior center in Herndon and was always ready to go somewhere with Howard. In addition to her companion Howard, Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Julie (Dennis) Latshaw of Hanover, Pa.; a son, Kim (Bruce Fleck) Phillips of Duncannon, Pa.; and a grandson, Derik A. (Elizabeth) Latshaw of East Berlin, Pa. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lamar Leitzel in April 2020. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge of the arrangements.
