PINE GROVE • Lorraine M. Kimmel, 91, of Providence Place, Pine Grove, formerly of Valley View, died May 4, at Providence Place. She was born Dec. 22, 1927, in Rough And Ready, a daughter of the late Charles and Katie Schlegel Paul. She was a 1945 graduate of the former Hegins Twp. High School. She was a cashier for the former Midway Supermarket prior to her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Kimmel; and four brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Snyder and Shelley Wolfgang, both of Hegins; a son, Brian Vargo of Mount Joy; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, May 9, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
