ELIZABETHVILLE • Lois L. Zimmerman, 84, of Elizabethville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Cedar Haven Health Care Center, Lebanon. Born May 18, 1937, in Dayton, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Jenny Lubold Berry. Lois was a 1955 graduate of the former Williamstown High School. She was a member of the Immanuel/Wes-ley United Methodist Church, Loyalton, where she was a long-time Sunday School teacher. Lois loved her church and reading her Bible. She could often be found watching TV, drawing, or listening to gospel and country music, the Gaither Vocal Band and George Strait being her favorites. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling and going to live concerts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Zimmerman, 1995; a brother, Arthur Berry, 2002; and a grandson, Michael Zimmerman, 2020. Surviving are her three children, Jack Zimmerman and his wife Jean of Tower City, Craig Zimmerman and his wife Cindy of Pine Grove and April Zimmerman of Enola; two sisters, Marilyn Shertzer and Ruth Berry, both of Millersburg; three grandchildren, Nicole Hoover and her husband Jason, Alyssa Adams and her husband Ryan and Matthew Zimmerman; three great-grandchildren, Ethaniel and Miriam Hoover and Lacie Zimmerman; and nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home Inc., Tower City, with Rev. Mark Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
