LYKENS • Linda K. “Mousie” Dauberman Knapp, 74, of Lykens, passed away Monday, Aug. 2, 2021, at her home. Born in Wiconisco, July 26, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Helen Dewalt Sims. Linda was employed by the former Bobbie Rogers garment factory, Wiconisco, for 17 years, and Lebro Shirt factory for four years. She retired after 13 years from Big Lots. She enjoyed going to the beach, camping, sewing and knitting. She was a member of the Lykens Valley Roamers Campground. Her family was the center of her world; she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands; Robert Dauberman, 1993 and Herman Knapp, 2017; her seven sisters, Mary, Dot, Toot, Nancy, Diana, Loretta and Helen and her six brothers, Harold, Robert, Mark, Lester, Tom and William. Surviving are her three sons Terry Sims and his wife Teresa, Lykens, Rodney Sims and his wife Cindy, Schuylkill Haven and Robert Dauberman and his wife Suzanne, Safety Harbor, Fla., her grandchildren Christina, Dustin, Brittney, Eric, Audrina, Devon, Alex, Byron, Justina, Heather, Rylee and Savannah; and her great-grandchildren, Addison, Elaina, Luke, Isabella, Mason, Hayden, Byron Jr., Brynlee and Gracelynn; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Linda’s life was held Aug. 7, 2021, at the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.
