LYKENS • Lester E. Snyder Jr., 75, of Lykens, died Feb. 21, 2021, at home. He was born April 23, 1945, in Lykens, Pa., the son of the late Lester E. Sr. and Wanda L. (Matio) Snyder. Lester was married to Joanne (Kute) Snyder for 38 years. He retired as a diesel mechanic after more than 30 years of service from Furnival Machinery in Harrisburg. Lester enlisted in the U.S. Army and served from 1964-1967 in Korea during the Vietnam War era. He was a member of the Gratz and Millersburg VFW, the Wiconisco Fire Co., and he was a lifetime member of the former American Legion in Lykens. He is survived by his daughters, Kelly Laudenslager of Harrisburg and Michele Owen of South Williamsport; granchildren, Ciara Laudenslager, Braeden Laudenslager, Devin Owen, and Dawson Owen. He also is survived by brothers, John of Dayton, Jim of Tower City, and sister, Susie Smith of Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by a sister Carolyn Deppen. Services will be private, and he will be laid to rest at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Memorial donations may be made to Diamond Jubilee Memorial VFW Post No. 2385, 424 Specktown Rd., Lykens PA 17048. Minnich Family Funeral Homes Inc., Williamstown (the former John R.
