HALIFAX • Lavonne Ellen Browning, 68, of Halifax, died Dec. 20, 2019, at Harrisburg Hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1951, the daughter of John and Jacqueline (Blosser) Martz, both of Halifax. Lavonne was married to Robert L. Browning for 36 years. She retired as a beautician from Erie Street in Dauphin. She also retired in 2014 from driving school bus in the Halifax Area School District. She was a member of the Fisherville Vol. Fire Co. No. 1, and Halifax Ambulance and Rescue. She enjoyed selling crafts. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Robert; her daughter Jaclyn Ellen Browning Stoneroad of Newport; grandchildren Raven, Sydney and Jaden Stoneroad; step-daughters Jeannie of Halifax and Lydia of Halifax; and stepgrandson Ethan. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Halifax Ambulance or Fisherville Fire Co.
