TOWER CITY • Kenneth R. Keim Sr., 84, died May 2, at his residence. He was born Jan. 14, 1935, in Pitman, a son of the late Ralph and Katherine Maurer Keim. He was a retired mechanic from his family’s business, Stoney Mountain Trucking. He was a longtime member of the former Grace EC Church, Muir; a current member of the Ebenezer EC Church, Williamstown; and a member of the Orwin, Muir and Sheridan Fire companies. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marlene “Marty” Weikel Keim; seven children: Kathy Schoffstall, Patti Unger, Sharon Shutt, Kenneth Keim Jr., Jennifer Miller and Robbie Keim, all of Tower City, and Jamie Keim of Muir; three brothers: Paul Keim of Cleona; Gene Keim of Reinerton and Ralph Keim of Tower City; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, May 8 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the chapel.
