HALIFAX • Kenneth L. Rothermel, Sr., 90, of Halifax, passed away recently at the Premier of Susquehanna in Millersburg, Pa. He was born June 26, 1929, in Trevorton, Pa.; he was a son of the late Charles and Helen Rothermel. Kenneth was retired from Chromalloy in Harrisburg and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Union St., Millersburg, Pa. Surviving are his loving wife, Mildred M. Rothermel; their children, Kerry Rothermel Sr., Karen (Skip) Herman, Darla (Mike) Shaffer, Darin (Mary) Evans and Tami (Mark) Heintzelman; their grandchildren, Tracy, Cory, Kerry, Jr., Tiffany, Chad, Patti, Charles, Michael, William, Stephen, Taneile, Brooke, Kylie, Steve, Simon and Stacy; numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Daniel (Nick) Rothermel, Wayne (Butch) Rothermel and Lamar Rothermel; sisters, Mildred Fulkroad and Fern Donmoyer; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce; his son, Kenneth Jr., infant daughter, Barbara; and granddaughter, Makelle Evans.
