LYKENS • Katherine L. Gittings of Lykens died Friday, Nov. 13. She was born Sept. 8, 1930, at Lykens to the late Leon R. and Katrina J. Wentzler Lebo. She was a member of St. Christopher Lutheran Church, Lykens, and enjoyed gardening and was an avid Notre Dame fan. She is survived by a son Todd R. Gittings; daughters LeMarie Mahoney and Kim L. Troutman and husband Ed; five grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; and a sister Dortheanna Snyder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John S. “Budd” Gittings and a great-grandson Daniel P. Mahoney. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.
