ELIZABETHVILLE • Karl L. Wickard, 64, of Elizabethville, passed away Aug. 12, 2019, at Harrisburg Hospital. He was born March 3, 1955, in Carlisle, Pa., the son of Anna Mae (Barrick) Wickard and the late Carroll “Sam” L. Wickard. Karl was the husband of Debra (Lucas) Wickard. He worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a computer programmer. He was a member of Millersburg Assembly of God where he served as a member of the board, played the guitar with the church worship team, and taught Sunday School. He was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. In addition to his wife Debra, and his mother Anna Mae, he is survived by his son, Lucas Wickard and his wife Rachel (Teter) of Elizabethville; daughters: Erika Peterson and her husband Tim of Elizabethville, Amy Reisinger and her husband Aaron of Newport and Brianna Marks and her husband Austin of Elizabethville; grandchildren: Samuel Wickard, Jeremiah Peterson, Isaiah Wickard and Madelynn Peterson; sister, Cheryl Kimble of Carlisle; brother David Wickard and his wife Kim of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Aug. 15 at Millersburg Assembly of God. Burial followed at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Millersburg Assembly of God, Shippen Dam Road, Millersburg, PA 17061. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd., Elizabethville, handled the arrangements.
