HALIFAX • John S. Hane II, age 52, of Halifax, died Dec. 31, 2019, at home. He was born June 2, 1967, in Harrisburg, Pa., the son of the late John S. Hane and Pearl (Bretz) Hane. He worked as a dock worker at YRC Trucking, Carlisle. He was a member of the Teamsters No. 776, Harrisburg. In addition to his mother, Pearl Hane of Halifax, he is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Hane of New Cumberland; sister, Tina Maus and her husband Steven of Halifax; niece, Ashley and nephew, Eric Maus, both of Halifax; and nephews, Dustin and Dillan Ramberger of Halifax. A memorial service was private and held at the convenience of the family, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. The service was officiated by Pastor Kevin Deitrich of Matamoras Bible Church.
