MILLERSBURG • John N. Miller, age 85, passed away Aug. 11, 2019, at his home, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He was born Feb. 20, 1934, in Jackson Twp., a son of the late John L. and Zema (Sheetz) Miller. He enjoyed farming and was a retired swine and crop farmer and a former Jackson Twp. supervisor. He attended Millers Church in Halifax. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth A. (Zimmerman) Miller; son, John E. (Wendy) Miller, Halifax; two daughters, Darlene M. Miller and Debra (Kenneth) Tannery, all of Millersburg; three brothers: Robert L. Miller, Roy A. Miller and Daniel E. Miller; sister, Amanda M. Miller, all of Halifax; four grandchildren: John B. Miller, Heidi D. Weaver, Michael J. Tannery and Morgan J. Tannery; and two great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Jocelyn Weaver. Services were held Aug. 15, 2019, at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, Elizabethville. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
