LYKENS • John L. Reed V of Lykens passed away Tuesday April 9, 2019, of natural causes. John was born March 19, 1999, at Harrisburg, Pa., to John Reed IV and Virginia Harding. John was a graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School Class of 2018 and enjoyed hanging out with his friends, fishing, drawing and skate boarding. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister Searia Calhoun, stepsister Amber Morgan, adopted brother Thomas Gilbert, half-brother Skyler Carran, stepdad, paternal father and grandparents Karly and Randy Herb, an aunt Melanie Harding Little and his girlfriend Erica. He was preceded in death by grandfathers Arthur Harding and John Reed III. There are no services scheduled at this time. John’s family would appreciate donation to the John R. Shultz Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens, PA 17048 to help with the funeral expenses. John R. Shultz Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
