ELIZABETHVILLE • John C. Lebo Sr., age 71, of Mifflin Twp., passed away, Friday, April 2, 2021, at UPMC Pinnacle Osteopathic, Harrisburg. He was born Oct. 27, 1949, in Harrisburg, the son of the late Daniel and Margaret (Seibert) Lebo. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Barry and Dennis. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Debra (Leitzel) Lebo; three children, Dennis L. Lebo of Mandata, Michael D. Lebo of Lykens and John C. Lebo II of Wiconisco; three grandchildren, Alivya Marie, Dillon and Amber; one great-grandchild, Raelynn; brother, David Lebo; and sister, Betty A. Smeltz. He retired with 48 years of employment with the former Bethlehem Steel Co., Steelton, Pa. He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elizabethville. He was a member and volunteer of the Berrrysburg Fire Co., and had memberships with the Short Mountain Gun Club, Millersburg Gun Club and lifetime member of the NRA. John enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting Dale Earnhardt memorabilia. Funeral services were held April 12, 2021, at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd, Elizabethville, a Minnich funeral location.
