WILLIAMSTOWN • Joel R. Strohecker Jr., of Williamstown, Pa., passed away Sunday Nov. 17, 2019, at home. He was born Feb. 12, 1930, in Williamstown, Pa., to the late Joel R. Sr. and Lily Katherine Mench Strohecker. He was a member of Twin Valley Alliance Church, Williams-town. He enjoyed reading his bible, listening to gospel music and landscaping. Joel is survived by daughters Charlotte and husband John Hoffman, Janet and husband Earl Houser, Kathy and husband Robert Hoffman, Jody and husband Glenn Ney, Sherry and husband Ray Archer; a brother Mark Strohecker; sisters Elaine Miller, Nancy Minnich and Evelyn Adams; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Joel was preceded in death by his wife Arlene C. Witmer Strohecker; sisters June Matter and Ruth Minnich; a granddaughter Karen Hoffman; and a greatgrandson Kadin Tige Mann. Memorial services will be held Saturday Dec. 7, 2019, at 2 p.m. from the Twin Valley Alliance Church, 9781 State Route 209, Williamstown, Pa. 17098 with Rev. Joel McGarvey officiating. There will be a visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation in Joel’s memory may be made to his church at the above address. John R.
