LYKENS • Jo Ann Wanamaker of Spruce Street, passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, at Spring Creek Nursing Home, Harrisburg. She was born June 12, 1947, in Richland, S.C., the daughter of the late Edward and Laura Mumma. She was a 1965 graduate of Halifax High School. She retired from the former Dauphin County Manor, Harrisburg, as a nurse. She enjoyed helping the patients she took care of at the home. She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Enterline. She enjoyed driving around the valley and getting her daily ice cream at McDonald’s. She loved seeing her grandchildren and spending time with her son. She is survived by her son, Randolph Maus of Lykens; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Maus and Nathan Maus; four foster brothers, Edward and Bruce Hoffman of Maryland, Ronald Watts of Harrisburg, and James Paul of Lebanon; and one foster sister, Dorothy Weaver of Enders. A visitation was held Jan. 11 at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home Ltd., Millersburg. Burial was in Mt. Laurel Cemetery, Piketown Road, Harrisburg.
