WOODBURY, N.J. • Jean L. Piltz, 89, formerly of Williams-town, died Oct. 7. She was born March 20, 1930, in Williams-town, a daughter of the late Russell and Florence Miller Boyer. She was a graduate of the former Williams-town High School. She was a member of the Colonial Manor United Methodist Church, West Deptford Twp., N.J. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clyde Piltz; two brothers, William and Larry Boyer; and two sisters, Barbara Moss and Mary Muggio. She is survived by a daughter, Jan Powers of Sewell, N.J.; two sons, Edward Piltz of Jim Thorpe and James Piltz of Bellvue, Colo.; a sister, Ellen Perseponko of Hummelstown; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Oct. 12 from the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Contributions may be made to Colonial U.M. Church, 56 Elberne Ave., Woodbury, NJ 08096.
