(Svetlana) Heintzelman, Enola, and Joshua Heintzelman, Gratz; nephew, Clark Heintzelman, Enola; stepbrother, Jason (Mary Kate) Grimes, Harrisburg; three stepsisters, Ashley (Randy) Spahr, Shermansdale, Jenifer Grimes (Rob) Waynick, Harrisburg, and Emily Grimes (Brad) Easter, Harrisburg, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jason loved all animals including his pet dogs Tux and Stuart, and his mother’s dog Libby. Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Smith, and paternal grandmother, Joanne Heintzelman. From a young age, Jason’s love was always sports, especially football. He had a strong work ethic on and off the field. He was well respected as a Halifax athlete as well as a running back for the Albright College football team. He had the passion and drive for sports, and some of his best days were competing on the field. Jason’s second passion was bartending and making people smile. He was a bar tender at Industry Public House in Pittsburgh, where he was also well respected and loved. He liked making people happy and showing them a good time. His smile and laugh were infectious, and it was easy to be in his company. Our family is heartbroken and saddened over Jason’s passing. We are overwhelmed by and so appreciative of the outpouring of love and support, and from many who we never knew. He was not only loved in the Halifax community, and Albright College, but in Pittsburgh, and will be dearly missed.
