Janet R. Kennedy

HALIFAX • Janet R. Kennedy, age 80, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital. She was born June 7, 1940, in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Keckler) Richwine. She was the widow of Charles Kennedy. She retired from Bell Telephone as a district manager. Janet was a member of the Millersburg Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by two sons, Matthew (Clara) Kennedy and Glen Kennedy (companion, Holly Bryson); three grandchildren, Destinie, Casey and Glen Jr.; step-grandchild, Shaelin Bryson, and two great-grandsons, Grayson and Glen III. Services were held Nov. 27 at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd., Millersburg. Burial was at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
