James Allen Cox

ELIZABETHVILLE • James Allen Cox, age 56, of Vine Street, passed away May 9, 2021, at his residence. He was born Oct. 30, 1964, in Ephrata, Pa., son of the late James and Anna Mae (Gehr) Cox. He had worked in the past for Covenco, a vending machine company. James was a U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed fishing, hunting and metal detecting. He also enjoyed going to coin shows and enjoying time with his beloved cats. He is survived by his son, James J. Cox of Tower City; daughter, Serena Cox of Elizabethtown; siblings, MaryAnn Morgan of Ocala, Fla., and Ruth Schrack of Mohrsville, Pa. He was preceded in death by a son, Alexander Cox, and brother, Theodore Cox. A private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family.
