HERNDON • James A. Roth, 77, died June 10 at his residence. He was born Nov. 15, 1941, a son of the late Harold and Mary Walt Roth. He was a 1959 graduate of Mahanoy Joint High School. He was employed for 30 years in maintenance for PennDOT. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Herndon; Herndon Lodge No. 702, Free and Accepted Masons; and the Lower Northumberland County Senior Center. He is survived by wife, Diane Radel Roth; a son, James Roth of Herndon, a daughter, Pamela McHale of Sunbury; and two grandsons. Services were held June 14 at Zion Church, Herndon. Masonic Lodge services also were held. Burial was in Herndon Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Zion Church, P.O. Box 384, Herndon, PA 17830. Robert G.
