TOWER CITY • Jacqueline Claire “Jackie” Carl, 79, died July 14 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pottsville. She was born Jan. 6, 1940, in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Clair and Gertrude Kelley Carl. She was of the Protestant faith. She was preceded in death by her boyfriend, Bill Schwalm. She is survived by two sisters, Dawn Carl of Tower City and Beverly Harman of Muir; a niece; and two great-nieces. Services will be held Friday, July 19 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
