TOWER CITY • Isabella Marie Carl, 17, of Tower City, beloved daughter of Venus Landor-Whitmore and the late Danny R. Carl, passed away from injuries sustained in a tragic car accident Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020. Her father and brother passed away in the same accident. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Venus and Adam Whitmore, Tower City; her brother, Ryan Carl and his wife Kelly, York; stepbrothers, Ethan, Ezra and Ezekiel Whitmore; maternal grandparents Rosa A. Clemente, Wrights-ville, and Angel and Deborah Nunez, Baltimore, Md.; two nephews, Rylan and Sawyer; and a niece Averie. Her loving aunts, uncles and many cousins also survive her. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Tommy Sr. and Margaret Carl. She was currently a senior at Williams Valley High School, where she was the statistician for the boys’ soccer team, a member of the Student Council and was on the prom committee. She narrowed down her college choices to Pitt, Penn State or Bloomsburg. She also worked part time at Dairy Queen, Lykens. Isabella was dedicated and consecrated in the Muir Foursquare Gospel Church. Isabella was just a joy with a little sass. Her smile was infectious. She enjoyed her shopping trips, collecting purses and modeling clothing. She was the friend everyone wanted to have, and was that one friend that was there for everyone. She was mature beyond her years. A public visitation will be held for Isabella, Danny and Danny Jr. Saturday, Nov. 21 from 9 a.m.-noon from the Muir Foursquare Gospel Church. Full CDC guidelines will be followed, and masks are required. Following the visitation, a private funeral service will be held with her grandfather Bishop Dr. Angel L. Nunez and Pastor Luke Heald officiating. Burial will be in the Methodist Cemetery, Muir. The service will be livestreamed on the Muir 4SQ Church and the Dimon Funeral Home Facebook page.
