HALIFAX • Ione A. Ramberger, age 77, formerly of Halifax, died Dec. 17, 2019, at Harrisburg Hospital. She was born June 5, 1942, in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Lester and Irene Webster. She was the widow of Allen R. Ramberger. Ione was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three children: son Troy Ramberger (Linda) of Texas, daughter Lori Fissel (Brian) of Halifax, and son Eric Ramberger (Kim) of Elizabethville; nine grandchildren: Kendra, Ashley, Alexis, Dillan, Dustin, Jake, Jordin, TynNeyl and Kenzie; 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Ione was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. In accordance with her wishes, Ione will be taken to Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville to be with her husband. The family held a private service Dec. 23, 2019. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
