MILLERSBURG • Hilda M. Collier, age 100, formerly of Elizabethville, passed away Oct. 24, 2019, at Premier at Susquehanna Village. She was born March 6, 1919, in Gratz, daughter of the late Elmer and Luma (Hartman) Bellis. She was the widow of William Henry Collier. Hilda was a retired secretary for the Governor’s Office with the Commonwealth of Pa. She was a lifetime member and former Sunday school teacher of Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville. She had memberships with the Gratz Historical Society, Lykens Valley Garden Club and Millersburg Art Association. She was an excellent artist painting oils and watercolors. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening. She is survived by a daughter, Darla Fulkroad; daughter-in-law, Sara Collier; two brothers, Blair Bellis and Mark Bellis; five sisters, June Messner, Bette Heiser, Esther Schoffner, Dorothy Wiest and Marian Memory.; seven grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Eileen Boyer and Edwin Collier; brothers, Lloyd, Bud, Bob and Jim; and sisters, Mabel, Anna, Lillian, Donna and Mary.
