HEBE • Helen M. Maurer, 66, died July 11 at her residence. She was born Aug. 4, 1952, in Millersburg, a daughter of the late Earl and Idabelle Raker. She was employed as a cook for 14 years at the R & K Diner, Elizabethville. She was a member of David’s UCC, Hebe, she loved puzzles, travel and family. She is survived by her husband Allen Maurer; a son, Dennis Maurer; two daughters, Rita Livesay and Karen Bordner; three sisters: Esther Bordner, Ann Mae Kristofits and Pauline Hawk; a brother, Paul Raker; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 20 at noon at Reigles Bible Fellowship, Millersburg.
