Helen A. Stoneroad
BERRYSBURG • Helen A. Stoneroad, age 82, of Pine St., passed away at her home, Wednesday June 24, 2020. She was born Nov. 21, 1937, a daughter of the late Theodore and Helen (Foltz) Fuhrman-Knapp. She was a retired seamstress and had worked for Playtimers, Elizabethville. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great great grandchild, and her pet dog, “Westley.” Helen spent time playing cards, board games, gardening and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed WWF wrestling on television. She is survived by her four children, Thomas P. (Lucinda) Stoneroad of Valley View, Darwin H. (Laura) Stoneroad of Bangor, Calif., Linda L. Stoneroad of Halifax and Tonna R. (Rusty) Campbell of Herndon; sisters, Betty Smith and Margaret Faletotasi; six grandchildren, Thomas, Dwaine, Robert, Stacy, Jason and Megan; seven great-grandchildren, Eric, Ethan, Ryker, Tyler, Kady, Addalynn and Brock and one great-great-grandchild, Colt. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marian Long, Roberta Karper and a brother, Theodore Fuhrman. Graveside memorial service will be held at Sweitzers Memorial Cemetery, Berrysburg, at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 2. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home Ltd., Elizabethville, is handling arrangements.
