TOWER CITY • Harold I. Thompson, 93, of Tower City, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born Feb. 9, 1928, in Sheridan, he was a son of the late Roy and Margaret Houtz Thompson. Harold served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Harold retired as a mechanic from the former Sheridan Service Station. He was preceded in death by sisters, Marlene, Thelma and Mary Lou; and brothers, Lamar, Robert, Roy and Clyde. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Harold will be laid to rest privately in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
