Grace M. Herb
ELIZABETHVILLE • Grace M. Herb, age 92, formerly of Elizabethville, passed away June 20, 2020, at Premier at Susquehanna Village. She was born Sept. 19, 1927, daughter of the late Benjamin Spotts and Carrie Shomper Spotts. Grace was a lifelong resident of Elizabethville. She was a graduate of the former Elizabethville High School. She was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Elizabethville, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School for many years. She was employed at the Ned Rich shirt factory in Elizabethville. She enjoyed stamp collecting and loved to read books. Grace is survived by a daughter, Linda Herb of Millersburg and her very close niece, Patricia Rissinger of Dalmatia; she is also survived by several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Cordella Nice and Naomi Rogers; and seven brothers, Clayton, Leroy, Herman, Harold, Gilbert, Arthur and Robert. A graveside service was held June 25 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church at 25 E.
