WILLIAMSTOWN • Gorgia Lee Gordon, 77, of Williamstown, died Friday, July 16, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville. Born Jan. 6, 1944, in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Smithson Rineer. She was a graduate of McCaskey High School, Lancaster, and Millersville State Teachers College with a bachelor’s degree in education. She worked as a teacher, a bookkeeper for the former Walkin Shoe Factory, Schuylkill Haven, and as a teller with Mid Penn Bank, Tower City. Also, she volunteered at Tower City Library. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward T. Gordon. Surviving are her son, Robert Bruce Hill II of Texas; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; her former husband, Robert Hill of Texas, and a sister, Theresa Hill of California. Private burial will be held in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. is handling arrangements.
