HALIFAX • Glenn Roger Zimmerman, age 97, of Powells Valley Road, passed away, Jan. 2, 2021, at the UPMC Pinnacle Hospital, Harrisburg. He was born Nov. 20, 1923, in Halifax, the son of the late Raymond and Annie (Schoffstall) Zimmerman. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He retired (1952-1986) from the former TRW plant, Harrisburg. He was a member of the former St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Enterline. Glenn enjoyed trapping and gardening. He is survived by his beloved wife of more than 73 years, B. Jean (Malick) Zimmerman; son, Wayne D. (Debra) Zimmerman, Halifax; daughter, Beverly A. (William) Stickley, Harrisburg; grandchildren, Dr. Whitney Zimmerman, Adam Stickley, Jared Stickley and Lauren (Marcus) Kohl; and four great-grandchildren. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax, at the convenience of the family. Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home Ltd., Millersburg, is handling arrangements.
