ELIZABETHVILLE • Glenn G. Hostetter, 90, of Elizabethville, passed away Nov. 21, 2019, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. He was born Oct. 20, 1929, in Elizabethtown, son of the late Jamie Leroy and Jennie May (Geib) Hostetter. On June 16, 1951, he was united in marriage to Anna Ruth (Hess) Hostetter, who survives. Glenn was involved in ministry and construction mostly all of his life. He was ordained in the Brethren in Christ Church in 1956. After retirement, he preached and did construction projects in seven different countries around the world. Glenn was a member of the Emmanuel Wesleyan Church in Gratz, Pa. Surviving are his wife Anna Ruth; daughter Glenna Trayer (Dennis) of Dalmatia, Pa.; daughter Ethel Canfield (Douglas) of Oswego, N.Y.; son Galen Hostetter (Judith) of Elizabethville; daughter Esther Robertucci; daughter Karen Kline (Jonathan) of Salisbury, N.C.; sister Nancy Hostetter; brother Jim Hostetter; as well as 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held Nov. 23 at the Gratz Emmanuel Wesleyan Church. Interment was in the Gratz Emmanuel Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
