George M. Lodish Jr.
MUIR • George M. Lodish Jr., 65, of Muir, died unexpectedly, Oct. 3 at the Geisinger Medical Center.
Born July 15, 1955, in Lykens, he was a son of the late George Sr. and M. Shirley (Becker) Lodish.
George was a 1973 graduate of Williams Valley High School.
He was last employed as a heavy equipment operator at Pennsy Supply Inc.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Tower City.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth A. Berry Hoffman; two children, Jessica L. Lodish of Lebanon and Travis M. Lodish of Wellsville; step-daughter, Heather Hoffman of Muir; and five grandchildren. Services were held Oct. 11 from the Chapel of Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Tower City. A private burial was held.
