WILLIAMSTOWN • George G. Wynn, 88, died Jan. 9, at Spring Creek Nursing Home, Harrisburg.
He was born July 10, 1930, in Reinerton, a son of the late Samuel and Dorothy Batdorf Wynn.
He was a 1949 graduate of the former Wiconisco High School.
He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War.
He was a retired clerk from Reiff & Nestor, Lykens.
He was a member of Faith EC Church, Wiconisco, where he was a former layman and treasurer; and a former member of Men in Harmony chorus.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Stella Miller Wynn; a sister, Dorothy Klinger and half-brother, Robert Deiter.
Surviving are his son, Timothy Wynn of Camp Hill; a brother, Samuel Wynn of Wiconisco; four sisters: Vivian Keesey of Maryland; Verna Moppin of Berrysburg, and Laura May Long and Bonita Johnson, both of Nevada; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 15 from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City.
Burial with military honors was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
