MILLERSBURG • Fred D. Etzweiler, age 62, of Millersburg, passed away March 14, 2020, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born Aug.19, 1957, in Harrisburg, a son of the late Fred and Verna Etzweiler of Millersburg. He was the husband of Lori Etzweiler, to whom he was married for 39 years. Fred was a graduate of Millersburg Area High School. He was a U.S. Marine veteran. Fred retired from Metal Industries, where he worked as a machinist for 28 years. He enjoyed camping and spending time at Raystown Lake. He loved his family dearly and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them and his many friends. In addition to his wife, Lori, Fred is survived by his daughter Natalie Gramse of San Diego, Calif.; three sons: Randy Etzweiler of Millersburg, Troy Etzweiler and his wife Holli of Fort Worth, Texas, and Matthew Etzweiler of Millersburg; seven grandchildren: Tyler, Brock, Haven, Hailey, Alec, Dylan and Lily; a great-granddaughter, Padme; sisters: Kathy Sites, Peggy Crosby and Linda Matter (Tim); brother, Sam; and a sister-in-law Janet Etzweiler. In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Etzweiler; and a brother, Robert Etzweiler. The family will receive friends at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from noon to 1 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Briggs officiating.
