Flora M. Clark
DALMATIA • Flora M. Clark, 94, of Dalmatia, Pa., passed away Aug. 16, 2019, at the Emmanual Home in Northumberland, Pa.
She was born May 10, 1924, in Dalmatia, Pa., the daughter of the late Cloyd and Florence (Garman) Fenstermacher.
She was the wife of the late Earl D. Clark.
She was a member of Christ Evangelical & Reformed Church in Leck Kill, Pa.
She was a graduate of Millersburg High School, class of 1942.
She worked during World War II at Brubaker Tool Co., as a bookkeeper at Schaffer’s Ford Garage, in a clerical position with the State Department of Health, was an Avon representative for 10 years and served as a Republican Committee person for Lower Mahanoy Twp.
Flora was also a family business co-owner.
Her hobbies included gardening and landscaping, swimming, oil painting, bowling and collecting seashells.
Flora touched the lives of everyone she met. Her pride and joy was her family.
She is survived by her son, Randall W. Clark of Dalmatia; two grandchildren, Angela (Clark) Derr and Matthew Clark; two great-grandchildren, Alyssa (Jones) Hays and Jacob Jones, and one great-great-grandchild, Maxton Hays.
She was preceded in death by two stillborn infants; a brother Ralph, in infancy, sisters, Merle Felmlee and Elva (Pat) Warner and a brother, Robert Fenstermacher.
A private graveside service was held for immediate family only, at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax, Pa., at the request of the deceased.
