HALIFAX • Eva Marie Clark Spahr, age 85, of Halifax, Pa., passed away peacefully Nov. 6, 2019, at her home. She was born Dec. 8, 1933, in Bloomsburg, Pa., daughter of the late Clark Evans and Alma Manley. Eva was the widow of the late Dale Leroy Spahr of Halifax. Eva was a retired long distance operator for the AT&T Co. She was a devout Catholic throughout her life. Eva is survived by her six children: Eva Marie Clark Troup and her husband John H. III of Harrisburg, Sarah Clark MacMillan and her husband William of Palmyra, Karen Louise Clark of Newport, William T. Clark II of Duncannon, Cynthia Renee Fornwalt and her husband Charles of Halifax, and Yvonne Linn Clark Urquhart and her husband Jerry of Camp Hill; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; two half-brothers Raymond and Kevin Evans of Millville. In addition to her husband and parents, Eva was preceded in death by her five siblings. Mass of Christian Burial was held Nov. 15, 2019, at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg. Interment followed at Long’s Cemetery in Halifax. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Humane Society of Greater Harrisburg, 7790 Grayson Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17111.
