Eugene Lamar Long
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. • Eugene Lamar Long was born in Harrisburg Hospital March 18, 1983, and passed away in The Enlanger Hospital, Chattanooga Tenn., March 20, 2020, at 1:13 a.m. of natural causes.
He is the son of Tammy May, Elizabethville, and stepson of Abdul Hakema. He has a sister, Tammy Mendosa of Halifax; a brother, Kraig Long of Harrisburg; and a sister, Ruth I. Stoneroad of Millersburg. Eugene spent 10 years in the Army National Guard where he received many medals, as well as serving in Iraq.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Long of Orlando, Fla.; and two sons, Raymond and Mykal of Tennessee.
Eugene is the grandson of Richard Eugene Koppenhaver of Elizabethville and the late Loretta Mae Koppenhaver; also Brenda Leitzel and the Late Donald Lamar Leitzel of Millersburg. Eugene has many aunts, uncles and cousins and also a niece.
He was proceded in death by a nephew. Eugene also was proceded in death by his father, Edward Leroy Myers of Lebanon. Pa.
Eugene was laid to rest in the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tenn. April, 10 2020.
