WILLIAMSTOWN • Ethel J. Machamer, formerly of Williams-town, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, just five days shy of her 95th birthday. Born in Williams-town, June 21, 1926, she was a daughter of the late William G. and Leona Kuntzelman Trotman. She was a graduate of the former Williamstown High School. Ethel was a retired administrative assistant from Ft. Indiantown Gap, Ann- ville. She was a member of the Williams-town United Methodist Church and Glenn Chapter of Eastern Star, Lykens. Ethel enjoyed spending time with her family. She could often be found crocheting and knitting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Benjamin Machamer, 1987; a sister, Carolyn Hoffman; and three brothers, Aaron, Harvey and John Trotman. Surviving are her two children, Ben M. Machamer and his wife Cathy of Williamstown and Leona A. Berzowski of Halifax; five grandchildren she adored, Justine Machamer of Chambersburg; Courtney Machamer of Williamstown; Alex, Tyler and Jacob Berzowski all of Halifax; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held June 21, 2021, at Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Burial was in the Williamstown Methodist Cemetery.
