Eric Richard Erdman
MILLERSBURG • Eric Richard Erdman, 20, of Millersburg, died Aug. 13, 2020, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 28, 1999, in Harrisburg, Pa., the brother of Tylor Michael Erdman, twin brother of Kyle Ryan Erdman, and son of Rita Catherine Ruch and Michael Walter Erdman.
He was a 2018 graduate of Millersburg Area High School, and was accepted at Wake Forest University. He was a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business.
In 2016, he was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. He was granted a wish from the Make a Wish Foundation and decided to give back with that wish.
As a result, he founded the T.E.K. Foundation CC Inc., dba Give a Child a Voice, which focuses on educating children and adults about the importance of a child’s voice when faced with unfortunate circumstances.
Eric has reached communities across the country and was able to build two high school weight rooms, with a third one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother Kyle and his service dog Squirt.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020 at David’s Community Bible Church, Millersburg, from 12 noon–3 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 3 p.m., with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. Eric requested that those who he has come across or have been impacted by his life please attend the service and dress to impress.
