MILLERSBURG • Earl R. “Dick” Wert, 86, of Millersburg, passed away Aug. 19, 2020, at Premier at Susquehanna.
He was born Sept. 22, 1933, in Loyalton, a son of the late Florence and Earl Wert, Sr.
Earl was a farmer and enjoyed antique tractor restoration, John Deere was his favorite.
He attended the Calvary Wesleyan Church in Millersburg.
Earl is survived by his wife Iretta Wert; daughter Mary Jane (Dave) Jones; son Warren (Lori) Wert; three granddaughters Ashley and Rachel Wert and Tinicia Burns; grandson Isaac Shutt; great-granddaughters Alyson and Aubrey; and brother Frederick Wert.
He was preceded in death by brother Kenneth “Doc” Schreiber, and sister Shirley Hartman.
Private graveside services will be held at the Switzer’s Cemetery, Berrysburg.
James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge of the arrangements.
