WICONISCO • E. May Shannon of Wiconisco, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at Premier at Susquehanna, Millersburg, Pa.
May was born July 15, 1927, in Williamstown, to the late Edward and Mabel Clouser Watkeys.
She was a graduate of the former Williamstown High School and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Wiconisco.
May is survived by two daughters Janet M. Schrope and Joyce L. Gunderman; two grandchildren Kelly Unger and Bill Fromme; two great-grandchildren Zach R. Fromme and Stevie N. Unger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert K. Shannon; brothers Marlin, John, William and Robert Watkeys; and sisters Helen L. Knouff and June R. Long.
Graveside services were held Jan. 14, 2019, from Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Pottsville St., Wiconisco, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in May’s name may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 329 Pottsville St., Wiconisco, PA 17097.
John R. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens, was entrusted with the arrangements.
