Dorothy K. Osborne

Dorothy K. Osborne, age 96, passed away Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, at the Stonebridge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Duncannon, Pa. She was born July 21, 1925, in Courtdale, Pa.; she was one of 19 children to the late John H. and Linnie E. (Mumie) Kritzberger. Dorothy was very active with the New Jersey Republican Party; volunteering at elections for several decades and at the VA hospital. She loved to share stories of her past to anyone who would listen, enjoyed arts and crafts, playing bingo and spending time with her family visiting her. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Corinne Libby of Delaware; grandchildren, Mark McAlanis and wife Heather Stafford of Northumberland, George McAlanis of Millersburg, Gail Stoy of Royerford, Kimberly Libby of Norristown and Eric Libby and companion Rose Kirwan of Dalmatia; great-grandchildren, Mason and Madelyn McAlanis, Dominic and Aiden Libby, James and Ryan Stoy, George III, Benjamin and Katherine McAlanis and Shawn Kirwan; her brother, Gene Kritzberger; sister, Joan Hoover; a special niece, Carol Mack and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Osborne in 1996; daughter, Dorathy McAlanis in 2015 and her other siblings. A graveside service was held in the Cedar Crest Cemetery, Trucksville, Pa., Aug. 10 with Pastor Jay Jones officiating.
