MILLERSBURG • Doris J. Troutman, 88, of Millersburg, died Jan. 5, 2020, at home. She was born Jan. 7, 1931, in Pillow, the daughter of the late Charles Earl Martz and Edith Minerva (Phillips) Martz. Doris was married to Carl E. “John” Troutman, who died Sept. 24, 2017, for 69 years. She was a graduate of Lower Mahanoy Twp. High School in 1948. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she served on the Trustees Committee, U.M. Cooperative Committee and was a Sunday School teacher. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She retired from Rea and Derick Store (CVS) in Millersburg. She is survived by her daughters: Janet Haines and her husband John, Beth Nestler and her husband Thomas, Lori Schoffstall and her husband John, Lisa Osman and her husband Richard and Nan Troutman and Paul Milburn; grandchildren: John, Jaclyn, Jacob, Lauren, Laine, Anson, Maxwell, Alexis and Ryan; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Barbara Paul; and brother, Richard Martz. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Goodling; and her brother, Harold Martz. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, at Grace United Methodist Church from 1-2 p.m. Services will begin at 2 p.m. with a luncheon to follow. A private burial was held at the convenience of the family at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to Grace UM Church, 982 Medical Rd., Millersburg, PA 17061 or American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
