HALIFAX • Dohn P. Fetterhoff, 73, of Halifax, died June 27, 2021, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He was born July 15, 1947, in Elizabethville, the son of the late Philip Fetterhoff and June (Burrell) Fetterhoff of Halifax. Dohn was married to Carol (Lebo) Fetterhoff for 52 years. He was employed with Dauphin County EMA for 30 years as a 911 dispatcher/daylight supervisor and later retired as an Emergency Management specialist and radiological officer. He was an active AFA/EMT with Halifax Area Ambulance & Rescue Association from 1969 to 2015 serving as chief, president and training officer, EMT instructor and class coordinator for Upper Dauphin County, CPR instructor, board member and chairman of Upper Dauphin County Emergency Services (later known as Medic 6), and was board member and chairman of HAARA until 2018. He was a dedicated Steelers’ fan, enjoyed mowing with his John Deere and the time spent with grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife Carol Fetterhoff; a son, Dohn Scott and his wife Carolyn of Halifax; grandchildren, Cheyenne Fetterhoff, Kelsey Flickinger and Isaac Fetterhoff; great-grandchildren, Allieannah, Addielynn, Charles, Gracelynn and Philip; a brother, Gary and his wife Sharon, and a sister, Phyllis McCleaf and her husband Ron. He was preceded in death by a son, Troy Philip Fetterhoff. A funeral service was held Friday, July 2, 2021, at Halifax United Methodist Church. Burial was at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
