TOWER CITY • Dennis E. English, 69, formerly of Tower City, died Thursday, March 5. Born in Tower City, Dec. 29, 1950, he was a son of the late Richard and Grace Lemke English. Dennis was a 1968 graduate of Williams Valley High School. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. Dennis was a retired CNA from local nursing homes and private home health care. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion, Donna Wetzel; and an infant son, Ryan English. Surviving are his two children, Shannon Housand, Frackville, and Eric English, Tower City; one brother, John English, Myerstown; three grandchildren and one great-grandson. Services with full military honors will be held Thursday, March 12 at 3 p.m. from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
