Deborah Mae Motter
HALIFAX • Deborah Mae Motter, 67, of Dee Court, passed away tragically as a result of a house fire Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020.
She was born Jan. 25, 1953, in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Ronald Boyer and Mae (Hoffman) Boyer who survives her in Elizabethville.
She was a 1971 graduate of the Upper Dauphin Area High School.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Fisherville.
She is survived by her mother and her husband of 47 years Robert Elwood mottler Jr.; daughter, Tammie (Jeffrey) Roadcap of Elizabethville, daughter Vicki (Adam) Messner of Hegins, daughter Kelly (Dwayne) Miller of Millersburg, son Mark (Katie) Motter of Marysville, and son Damien, (Angela) Motter of Dalmatia; brother Ronald (Jacalyn) Boyer of Berrysburg and a sister Heidi (Seth) Paul of Wellsville; grandchildren, Bryce, Jade, Hannah, Cassidy, Aidan, Brooke, Riley, Ellie, Cole, Anna, Kira, Faith, Jemma, Julia and Derrick.
Memorial services were held Aug. 29, 2020, at St. Peter’s “Fetterhoff’s” Lutheran Church pavilion with Rev. Nancy Brody officiating.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to her church at 3 Church St., Halifax PA 17032.
