David R. “Cinder” Mamrosh, 59, died June 30, 2021. He was the son of Gladys (Mamrosh) Dixon and Kenneth G. Dixon Sr., who raised him in Palo Alto. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Dixon Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Kerilyn Mamrosh; two sisters, Jackie Spraut and Helen Mamrosh of Pottsville, a brother, John Mamrosh of Minersville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He graduated from Pottsville Area High School and earned his certificate in welding. Family will hold its own celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to Friends of Schuylkill Parks and Recreation. The Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
