HALIFAX • Darlene L. Sostar, age 68, of Halifax, Pa., passed away March 3, 2020, at Premier at Susquehanna Village. She was born Dec. 16, 1951, in Halifax, Pa., daughter of the late Daniel Dorothy Barry. She was the widow of Roger L. Sostar of Halifax. Darlene is survived by her two sons, Roger Sostar Jr. (Lisa) of York, and Jeff Sostar (Misty) of Elizabethville; five grandchildren, Megan, Roger III, Sabrina, Seth and Jeffrey Jr.; three great-grandchildren Riley, Bailey and Brayden; a brother Carly (Cotton), and a sister Elsie. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ray, Roy, Anna and Marlin. There will be a viewing at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Millersburg, Wednesday, March 11, 2020, from 10-11 a.m. Following the viewing, there will be a graveside service at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Minnich Funeral Homes, Inc. to help offset the cost of the funeral.
