PILLOW • Dale A. “Butch” Phillips, 64, of Pillow, died May 27 at his residence. He was born in Sunbury Nov. 20, 1955, a son of Edna (Troutman) Phillips and the late Richard Phillips. He was employed as a mason for many years. He served in the Marines and was a member of St. Paul’s UCC, Urban. He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Sheads; grandchildren, Jackson Sheads and Cheyanne Phillips; five sisters, Lori Renn, Anita Sardo, Patty Troutman, Lisa Erdman and Carol Kramer. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Phillips in 2014. Private memorial services will be held at St. Paul’s UCC, Urban. James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge of the arrangements.
